WHAT ARE THEY, AND WHO NEEDS THEM?

Marine Radio Operator Permit is Required On:
All vessels with a length of 65 feet or more.
All inspected vessels carrying passengers for hire.
All vessels subject to the Radiotelephone Act.
All towing vessels 26 feet and over.
All vessels going out of the country.

You Must Have An MROP If You Are Operating:
An Inspected Vessel.
An Uninspected Vessel (6-Pack) 65 feet or larger.
