This course provides advanced training in the principles of ship stability, focusing on complex stability calculations, regulations, and practical applications. It is designed for maritime professionals who need to deepen their understanding of stability concepts and their implications for vessel safety.

- Completion of this training will satisfy the Advanced Stability training requirements as specified in Table A-II/2 of the STCW Code for certification as Master or Chief Mate on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC).
- The practical assessments conducted in this course will be accepted as the equivalent of the following assessments from the National Assessment Guidelines for Table A-II/2 of the STCW Code: M-9-1A; M-9-1B; M-9-1C; and M-9-1D.
- Applicants who have successfully completed this course need not present the completed “Control Sheets” for these assessments in application for STCW certification.
