For over 40 years, I've shared my passion for nautical knowledge, teaching everything from basic seamanship to celestial navigation. As a former Boston University professor, I strive to make learning engaging and enjoyable. My sailing experience includes nine Marion to Bermuda races and two Commodore's Cup victories. Recently, I transitioned from a 47' sailboat to a 38' Sabre powerboat, which I frequently cruise along the Maine coast. I'm currently the Commodore of the Portsmouth NH Yacht Club and previously served as Commander and District Educational Officer for the United States Power Squadron. I've also contributed articles to major marine magazines and am a frequent lecturer on marine electronics.
