I'm David Y. Patlak, CWO4, USCG (Ret.), NREMT, MEP. My career spans 24 years in the Coast Guard, with 16 years focused on protecting South Florida and the Caribbean. My experience covers aviation, Fire/EMS, law enforcement, and infrastructure, including roles as a SAR aircrewman, instructor, operations officer, and staff analyst. After retiring from the Coast Guard, I joined the City of Miami Beach's Emergency Management, where I've served as EOC support, logistics chief, and master exercise practitioner. As a nationally registered EMT and FEMA instructor, I'm committed to sharing my knowledge. I hold degrees in Supervision and Management and Public Administration.
