Originally from Texas, I joined the Coast Guard right out of high school, and retired as a Chief Boatswain's Mate after 21 years of service. I'm a big fan of the outdoors and a bit of a NASCAR enthusiast. I feel incredibly fortunate to be teaching at Sea School, sharing my experience and passion for maritime subjects.
