As a proud graduate of Great Lakes Maritime Academy (class of 2017), I've spent the past 8 years immersed in the world of commercial sailing. For the last two years, I've served as an instructor and mate aboard the TS State of Michigan, sharing my passion for seamanship. My experience includes working for the Alaska Marine Highway on vehicle and passenger ferries, as well as with Military Sealift Command on LMSRs. I'm particularly drawn to all aspects of navigation, from RADAR and electronics to celestial navigation and chart plotting.
